ADSA Directions
Abstract
ADSA has been very active on the Public Relations front with: weekly media requests including weekly interviews on UNISA FM, a monthly page in MyKitchen magazine and over 20 media requests from February 2015 – June 2015. From April 2015 to June 2015, ADSA released three statements on Infant Nutrition, Optimal Nutrition and Dietitians in South Africa. We have also released eight Nutrition Confidence recipes, two ‘Success Stories’ and two ‘Meet the Dietitian’ posts on social media, and in April 2015 ADSA commented on the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies (NDA). There have also been numerous media interactions and queries around the HPCSA’s Tim Noakes inquiry that started on 5 June 2015.
