Abstract
SASPEN joined the British Dietetic Association again this year for Dietitian’s Week, 4 – 8 June 2018. The theme for this year was “Dietitian’s do Prevention”. SASPEN would like congratulate the winners of the university competition. The winning video focused on the prevention of heart disease and was produced by Bernadine Blom, Jessica Botes and Leatitia Human. The winning poster titled Elderly Talk 101: Sarcopenia was entered by Mariska Friedrich, Jane Lotz, Leatitia du Plessis and Esma Killian. Both groups are from North West University. SASPEN would like to thank ENASA for sponsoring the prices for the winning teams. The winning video and poster is available on the SASPEN Facebook page.
