Abstract
The Nutrition Society of South Africa (NSSA) and the Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA) proudly hosted the biennial National Nutrition Congress in Muldersdrift (west of Johannesburg, South Africa) at the Misty Hills Conference Centre, 5–7 September 2018. The theme for the congress was Nutrition: Past, Present, Future, with 464 delegates and trade members present. The Nutrition Congress attracted delegates from South Africa and 13 different countries around the world, including France, the Netherlands, Nigeria, USA, Canada, Malawi, Uganda, Ireland, Lesotho, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, and the Gambia. Over 100 abstracts were presented, with 10 information posters and 48 researcher posters decorating the exhibition centre.
